Armed men kill policemen in Enugu and set police station ablaze. (9th October, 2022)(Politics/Insecurity): On the 9th of October, 2022, gunmen attacked the Inyi Police Division in Oji-River Local Government, Enugu State Nigeria. Two policemen were killed in the attack, the station was set on fire and weapons were stolen.

Popular Nigerian Lawmaker Dies In Saudi Arabia (10th October, 2022) (Politics): The member representing Bakori LGA in Katsina State House of Assembly, Dr. Ibrahim Aminu Kurami, has died in Saudi Arabia. The lawmaker had gone to Saudi to perform Umrah. According to a family source, he died after a brief illness in Madinah at around 2am Nigerian time. He left behind two wives, 11 children and three grandchildren.
Tenant Sells Landlord To Kidnappers For 1 Million Naira (11th October, 2022) (Insecurity): Officers of the Osun State Police Command have discovered the decomposing body of an aged landlord, Oladepo Asaolu, after about four days of disappearance. It was gathered that one of the tenants of Asaolu, allegedly sold him to some kidnappers for N1 million. His abductors have been arrested. Four of them are presently at the police net.
